In life you have to take risks. In war sometimes risks are all you get.

I have a deck of the Story Forge cards, and the writing group I'm in did a Film Noir card layout and we all created a different story from it. You can read more about it or check out the card layout I used in the story links. This story came out a bit darker than my usual writing (some NSFW language), but I liked how it came out so thought I'd share it here.
