"No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! A short story about an agoraphobic woman living alone on a small farm property. It follows her descent into hopelessness at her situation, as well as the increasing tension with her twin, who has been taking care of her. This is very amateur, and I don't usually do creative writing, so I apologize for any messiness or beginner mistakes. The first part was written all the way back when I was still in High School, so pardon the poorer quality there. Any feedback/constructive criticism is very welcome.

I stepped into the middle of the streets and I suddenly heard a loud honking noise. I turned my head and noticed a semi, just meters away from me.
