I once read that the person you want with you when your dreams come true is your true love. The one you are meant to be with for the rest of your life.
I looked at him. I didn't know I was looking until he walked over and kissed me. Everyone in the whole room was looking at me, and I was looking at him. It was him that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. It. Was. Him.

Alex Montgomery was just a regular girl who liked regular things. She read books, worked on the yearbook staff, and got good grades. She wasn't necessarily popular, but everyone liked her. She let people like Anna Johnson have the spotlight. She didn't really date because she didn't feel the need to, until she met him.
Preston Mitchell was the new kid. He was a decent football player, but not the best. He was interested in girls, but never found one that particularly interested him, until he met her.
