In which, a 15 yr old boy named Ashton, soon turning 16 in the next couple months just wants to live his life without anyone tormenting him. Sadly enough though, his dad and some 3 boys at school have been tormenting him for years on end. This is a romance book, mainly focusing on Ashton and Kai, but also focusing on the others in the book a bit too. This book is filled with lots of ups and downs, including sad moments, happy moments, and plenty of other moments the characters will face. Tws (technically some spoilers?) -lots of swearing -bullying -fights -abuse -violence -underaged drinking -self harm -abduction -heavy SA implications

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! This story and it's characters are basically full of my own insecurities and fears, so yeah enjoy. If you start getting anxiety because of it I am so sorry, and know that I am here for you. I understand all the pain of bull crap so many have to deal with, on top of rigorous classes and a mental disorder. Eden is your typical American teenager... Kind of. His family hates him. He hates him. His old friends hate him. His old boyfriend hates him. Basically everyone he's grown up with in his hometown hates his god damn guts. All because he's gay, stupid right?
