Trying to stay alive during the Titan attacks certainly isn't easy. However, it's much harder for Kanako, the cadet known for her depressing disabilities; being half deaf and completely blind. Many people, for some reason though, have a little crush on her, like Eren, and Jean, and...Levi.

Surprisingly, the Scouting Legion accepts her in the branch. But why? They think she has something...something incredible, mysterious, that she herself might know about. But does she know what she is getting herself into? And what does she have that is so important to the Survey Corps?

Another giant shake erupts me from my thoughts as I tremble in fear of everything around me. Something big is coming closer, but...what could it be..?

I'm paralyzed in fear as I fall on my butt, staring blankly at what's in front of me, tears sliding down my cheeks.

It's heavy breathing reaches the skin on my face, and I feel the extreme heat attacking it. I can't hear or see, and my fingers dig into the soil in complete terror. I wish I could see what's in front of me so I can turn the opposite direction and run, but I'm so scared I can't move...

"KANAKO!"

The the beast in front of me seems to growl, as the ground starts shaking again and gets more shaky as seconds pass. I feel the beast start to run away from me...in the opposite direction of me...and all I can think is...
