As a child we are taught to never sail on a ship with men, but yet some of us still seek the thrill of the sail out. As a punishment for our defiance the men of the ship toss the women overboard and as they sink to the bottom of the ocean, legs tied to each other, they transform into beautiful, stunning mermaids. The women exact their revenge by using their new found beauty and melodious voice to drag the unsuspecting seamen out into the water where they have no mercy. The seamen are dragged down into the depths of the ocean. This is the mermaid's revenge.

The 1500s were a dangerous time. Pirates swarming the seas and the cities, they ruled the ocean with an eyepatch and a peg leg. For Stefan Clarke, it was all he could've ever hoped for. He belonged on a ship, sailing the waves of the water. But when he tries to prove himself to his captain, he ends up making a terrible mistake. He lets a stray on the boat. Worst of all: she's a woman. Having a lady can be bad luck on a ship. Falling in love with one is a whole other problem.
