"Daddy don't go" my little girl cried while hugging my leg "Yeah daddy we'll miss you don't go" her twin said hugging my other leg. My oldest son just sat down in the couch with tears streaming down his face. I turned to look at my wife or should I say ex wife. She looked down at the floor with a few tear marks on her cheeks while holding our two other kids. "I'm sorry" I say dropping my bags and taking them off my legs to hug them. I went to sit next to my son and whispered in his ear "I never met to hurt you" after saying that I gave him a hug and ruffled his curly hair. I then went to my wife. "I'm sorry" I said kissing the tear marks, then her lips. I then kissed and hug my 3 year and 1 year old sons. "Daddy loves you" then grabbed my bags and left the house. 《《《《《This is some VERY old writing of mine. Enter if you dare clichés, terrible grammar, and a story with next-to-no scenery descriptions. I might revisit this idea later, so I'm leaving it up for now.》》》》》 Crying. It's an act to show emotion. It is only supposed to be seen by those around you when it happens, but here, it's different. In this dystopian world, you can see, via hologram, the last time someone cried. There are people who use this to manipulate and antagonize others. Anna is the center of our story. She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.

A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback. I know it is far from perfect and I have thought about going back and reworking it but just have not gotten around to it.
