They were formed in 1975 and broke up in 1979. They were called The Runaways! Cherie was the lead singer from 1975-1977. From then, the lead singer was Joan Jett, until The Runaways broke up. Cherie Currie loves David Bowie. She suffered from drug and alcohol addictions
