This Sandlot book is based in recent times. This book is a about a girl named Candelaria Salinas-Ochoa who is all about school and sports and you know being a baddie and just slaying the game daily. . That is until she has to move because of her Mom and Step dad's jobs to a place where she knows literally no one. And there her life turns into a telenovela and she goes through some crazy stuff, with her new friends by her side who you all know as "The Sandlot Boys" and in the meantime she might fall in love, and for Ms. Candelaria Salinas-Ochoa... that is a big deal.
