Emma Winslow was born to a lower class family, that only wanted a good education for their daughter. So when finally she was accepted to a prestigious secondary school, Emma practically ran to the campus. There she found herself completely submerged in elegant marble halls, and endless libraries. So now here Emma is: running through marble halls, tearing ball gowns, and gallivanting with people who regard large sums of money as "mere pocket change". These people whom Emma has befriended can only be described as rich, destructive, and brash. They grant her a glimpse into their lives, which from the surface seem flawless. Though Emma slowly learns through horrifying pranks, and violent school boys just how the upper half lives.

Grace

Eton College is the world's most prestigious boarding school. It's also just opened it's coveted doors to the female half of the population. When Grace was forced to take the entrance exams and subsequently got in, she assumed that leaving home to go to boarding school wouldn't be all that different to living with her parents who had never paid her much attention. And she was right. For a while. She thought that she'd have to deal with pranks and tones of sexual innuendos. Instead what gives her trouble is the Eton vocabulary, classes on a Saturday and being thrust into the centre of things when actually, she's perfectly happy to sit in the background being ignored. She's also being filmed for a documentary about the school and is suddenly made moderately famous. All that sort of goes on a back burner though because before she knows it, she's on the rowing team and best friends with (and falling for) the world's most eligible bachelor - the Crown Prince of Great Brittan and the Commonwealth, His Royal Highness Benjamin "just call me Ben" the Prince of Wales. Surrounded by new friends who have normal relationships with their parents and gaining confidence from them, Grace comes to question the way she was raised for the first time, but can she and her parents carve out a new relationship when they are so far apart and hardly see one another? And just how do you go about being the best friend of the future king?
