Formerly "Le Grande Danois (The Great Dane)". It's my version of how Batman adopted Ace The Bat-hound. My husband, Mick Gray, is a comic book inker who worked on Batman & Robin for years. In that series was a large black great dane named Titus. Bruce Wayne gave him to his emotionally troubled son Damian. There is no direct reference to any DC Comics characters in my story, but I'm sure you'll recognize them all. Please comment and let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is welcome, but please know that this was a work of flash fiction. It was written very quickly with only minimal editing. Enjoy!

Damian Al Ghul has been sent on a mission by his mother, Talia Al Ghul in order to prove his worth to her and his grandfather as a suitable heir to their family. Hello everyone, this is my first story I write on Wattpad. This story is a fanfiction I had in my mind to write for quite some time. A worldwide conquer commences of a government bent on eliminating the heroes of the Justice League, declaring them as enemies to the world. Because of this, a global extermination happens, decimating more than half of the hero community. The surviving heroes of the Justice League decide to take action and stop the very government that betrayed them. Now, the League is forced to join forces with their greatest enemies of the Secret Society, forming a temporary alliance. As their fight for freedom takes places, many deaths, conflicts, and decisions are to be made to free the world. Romance also develops during the course between, mainly focusing on what at first is a forsaken love but prevails. To be clear, I don't own any of the heroes and villains of DC used in the story. That classic maniacal grin spread across his features even in death. You just killed the Joker. Now with almost every hero and villain you know gunning for you, either for their form of "protection" or to just kill you, only one thought crossed your mind. His family didn't take the news very well, especially his biological son, Damian Wayne. He still continues his journey as the boy wonder. In his recent acts, he has been more violent. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book.
