The Over Achievers are a band of five guys in their late teens and early twenties who are famous world-over for their cliched pop songs and typical melodies. They are the most popular band in years, and most teenage girls are throwing themselves at them. It's blatant to see that Augustus, Beau, Spencer, Daniel and Leo are living the dream.

Veronica (Vee) Winters does not- under any circumstances- like The Over Achievers. In fact, she pretty much hates them. Her best friend, Lisa, is quite the opposite and loves them; in a turn of events, Vee ends up having to  accompany Lisa to their concert, but that isn't the end of it. In another turn of events, she ends up sleeping off a migraine in their hotel suite. A six hour journey is ahead of them after they insist on taking her home, and it's bound to be full of many detours, stops and wrong turns that will surely drag out her time with them even more. Will Vee's opinion of the band change? Particularly her opinion of Augustus Green- the sullen front man of the group.All Rights Reserved

Fun and a bit of sex mixed with travels and introspection. That is "She Kills". This novel was supposed to be the sequel of "Abat-Jour", my novel published by Inknbeans in 2015, that was about four guys and a series of trips to Spain in the summer of 2001 to provide a slice of life of a generation, mixed with irony, surreal meetings and a good dose of introspection. For those (all of you guys, I guess!) who didn't read "Abat-Jour": the story starts from the end: Daniele, the main character, has just come home from the last journey. As he rests on his bed, he looks back on what happened in his life in the last few months, inspired by shadows and things in his room. What comes out, in the shape of this journey, is a search for answers to questions of an entire generation. The narrator, Daniele, takes the reader jumping forward and back in months and years, collecting emotions and memories with a musical trace of U2's songs, always present. Everything finds its own place, eventually, in the puzzle of Daniele's memory illuminated in his Abat-Jour.. "She Kills" is also a fiction novel with 58.000 words estimated. It's about what happened to them from 2001 to 2015. I could say there's a mix of fiction and a true story in both of them. They're full of irony and weird situations but they mainly represent a generation between what it was before and after a critical age (the attacks of 9/11 represent a big divide). They were thirty years old but not ready to become men yet. The main character has a lover and a love story that changes him a lot in both novels. In the first one the girl was Eva, a Spanish girl who seems to be more than a summer story. The novel shows how bad things can go when you don't wanna grow up. In the sequel, there's a German woman named Ele who will bring Lele almost to craziness. At the end, despite all the weird, dramatic and funny situations, Lele realizes that there's no more time to waste in silly relationships in the worst possible way.

Now James is an interesting boy; he is a big partier, loves to surf, his best friend is Marvin, he's a player but not a player like Marvin is, he has dark brown hair, also dark blue/ green eyes, he loves his sister Jade and watches out for her. Now Jade, interesting girl I have to say; she's hates the popularity but she deals with it, she has green cat like eyes, light brown hair, she's not a type of girl who dresses up to impress or anything, she only does what she wants and needs to, her make up is almost always light, most boys think of her has a "hot girl", she's a surfer; might I say quiet an amazingly great one to; she follows her brother to his friends parties and things like that to make sure he's safe, she has a crush on Daniel, but so do all the other girls too. One day when they're seated together for an assignment they both can't take it anymore and come up with a plan to get their idiots together. Well more likely a deal. (My first completed story from like 5th so let's just see how this can go! Sorry for terrible grammar...) Mary Steel, she's not a huge fan of boys and just love the way she is. She's not interested into finding new friends and only into school. Love for her is just a waste of time. Addison Woodrow on the other hand is very handsome for his age. He's very smart yet just..sad. All the girls come to him only for his looks but he sure isn't a fan of that. He's caring, sweet, funny and loving, not a player. Mary doesn't get it though. She's known all her life that men are the worst and only want sex from her, but no matter how much she pushes Addison away he just keeps coming back to her, in a way she never imagined he would. Addison made it his mission to be her friend but.. that was hard when he fell for Mary than he should.
