"Please you have to help me," His voice sounded as if he were far away, and he was. "You're the only one who can see me." 

"Why me?" I was afraid. I must be going mad. 

"I suppose it can only be fate," He shrugged, a shadowy gesture which made him look even more mysterious. 

"What can I do? I'm on Earth and you're not..." 

"It's going to be one hell of an adventure. Are you up for it?" 

"No obviously not," I scoffed yet every inch of my skin yearned to follow him. 

"Liar," He smiled. "Take my hand." 

"Are you crazy? I can't even see you properly, how the hell am I able to touch you?" 

"Just do it already, Maya."

And so I did.
