"Zayn!", I called after him when I saw him running up the stairs.
Why was he avoiding me?
He stopped in his tracks and turned around slowly, revealing his eyes that didn't look at me. Instead he kept his eyes on the floor.
"Can you tell me whats your problem?" I asked, taking a step forward.
"Why would you think that?", he asked casually as if nothing had happened.
"You know exactly why." I shook my head.
He slowly raised his eyes and looked at me. But he didn't say aything.
"Just answer me one question, Zayn. Why did you choose this if you never wanted it? If you didn't like me, you could've just said no instead of agreeing to this marriage and treating me like this."
"Treating you like how? What did I do to you?" he frowned, his black pupils dilating in confusion.
"You should know better than to ask me that question", I gave him a disgusted look and walked past him, up the stairs and into my room.
I can't take this anymore. I have to end it whether they like it or not.
