But almost everyone doesn't know that he was the mayor's son. His mom and his dad broke up so he had to go with his mom but still visited his dad once in a awhile to help with his duties. That must be hard for him, seeing his dad with his new family and barely even treating kaneki like a son. But more of a butler. Everything changed.
