A year goes by, and they have inspired the other inhabitants of the Zones to join the fight. A particular group of siblings help their friend The Girl to get back the people that mattered most in her life. Together they are the fabulous killjoys, and they want to save the world.

Dr. Death Defying offers the Unwanted Killjoys protection, but Black Dynamite, the leader of the group, refuses to offer help. Although Fun Ghoul was nice, Jet Star was friendly, and Kobra Kid was helpful, she didn't like Party Poison. He paid a special interest to her, but she ignored him and the feelings she was getting. She just wanted to survive.
