Suddenly the puzzle pieces that has been drifting through his mind clicked into place. Hera's plan finally made sense. The reason why she had taken Percy and Jason from their camps wasn't just to bring the Greek and Romans together to fight Gaea, it was all part of a bigger plan. When Chiron said that the Greek and Roman demigods had had quarrels, Leo had always assumed that they had already had the two separate camps. But they hadn't. The first original camp, with both Greeks and Romans, was right there in front of him. This was Hera's plan. To bring them back. Back to where they had started. Back to the first camp.

The new campers, and a slightly less newer one, must go on a quest to rescue the queen of the heavens. When they return, they realize their issue is bigger than they thought. They must go to the newly discovered Roman camp, pick up three other demigods, begin the quest to Rome, lose some team members in Tartaurs, close the Doors of Death, and inevitably wake Gaea. After the second war everything starts to go back to normal. Except for Percy, normal is never an option. Annabeth and Percy broke up. Not that Percy was particularly sad about it. After Tartarus Percy wasn't able to feel that connection with Annabeth. He was glad and relieved that they broke up. But then it's like something suddenly snaps and the whole camp turns their back on him. Minus Leo, Nico, will, Thalia, and Rachel. Nico goes to the underworld to spend time with his father for the next 3 months, Will going with his. Zac tried to convince himself that the gift adds up to his 'ladies charm' but ended up killing the idea when he met Rachel. Leo thought of giving up. After the great fight with Gaea, he was still the seventh wheel. He was starting to think that Piper's mom (Aphrodite) cursed him. No one dared to date the 'hot' guy who saved the world. But the arrival of Steph was the final straw. Steph destroyed their relationship even before it started. But he couldn't shake the feelings out. But then again maybe it's Aphrodite messing with his feelings.
