Saving Benito

"No mom! You can't!" screaming,I held a firm grip on her arm using my other to try and reach the needle in her other hand, the tears streamed down my face. I was about to bawl. "Please you don't understand!" I began to beg an plead.

"Clara! Stop acting so foolish! Look at yourself, you see what this horse has done to you!?" She said back, anger ruled her voice.

Clara is a 16 year old teenage girl. She has the life any equestrian can dream of, a big estate property, a big riding facility, the best trainers and the best horses on the planet. However she's different from the snobby girls of this side of the equestrian world. Clara has a heart as bright as diamonds, this young teen chooses a horse who needs a second chance. Benito or Benny as Clara later nicknames him is a 17.3 hand Irish sport horse, also known as the Irish Hunter horse. Benito is a wild, crazy 5 year old that no one gives the time of day to. Benito is a "untrainable, worthless, bonk of a horse" but Clara refuses to accept this, she sees a glimmer of hope in this horse but everyone sees a stupid girl risking too much on one problem horse. Benito has a past of bucking, kicking, refusing jumps and anything you can think of naming this young horse has done. His trainer even admitted the horse was bonkers. Yet Clara still refuses, she sees herself in this horse, a misunderstood girl that is just looking for the love and attention from her mother, and a given up on horse, looking for a second chance an love. Nothing can go wrong right...? Right?
