In the year 2071, earth has changed drastically. The great nations of the world are no longer as great as they once were. The United States, Russia, China: all have fallen low. Only their greatest cities survive mainly as nation states more than anything.
In one of these city states, New Detroit, technology is advancing far beyond which anybody could've imagined.
A new breed of humans have been created using unknown processes. These new humans, espers, can manipulate the world around them using processes scientifically explainable.
One of these espers, Albert Holmes, has an esper power that could potentially lead the world into a new era. With the power of Clairvoyance at his side, can Al, a lone, petty thief, rise up to the roll envisioned to him by forces beyond us?
This story will be released with 3 parts per 2-3 days. New tags will be added as more elements are included, and all criticism, praise, or just simple questions about the series would be very appreciated.

In this world of guides and espers, gates leading to dungeons spawn across the world and espers are the only ones who can effectively clear them with their extraordinary powers. But the use of these powers aren't without consequences, as it drains the esper's energy greatly, replacing it with a malicious miasma, to the extent of going insane, and can only be calmed by a guide, who have different matching rates with different espers. Utterly broken after that night, Feng De walked the 4 miles to their hometown on foot, and drowned in the ocean that had once held so many happy memories for him. But he woke 10 years later, in the body of a infant, Feng Yun. He had no ambitions this time. All that he hoped for was that this time, none of the ill fortune that had hurt him so in his past life would find him.

But when River starts to learn more of the young man everyone fears she starts to see him in a new way. After some time feelings grow stronger and she hopes she's not fallen for a murderer.
