Almost three decades have passed since the battle between Pavox capitol city Veiliegstad and Io's forces of skaal and rebel pavox. Deep below the waters that beat at the base of the City-Above-the-World lives a young azinza named Echo. She has lived her short life of fourteen years under the Ocean and rule of the Imperial family who has placed a restriction on how close to the surface subjects are allowed due to the growing tensions on the surface world. Meanwhile, the harsh Prince Yuval is about to step up as Reigning Emperor, but before he can, he needs to settle a few matters, namely: a wife. Echo soon finds herself thrown into a world of political unrest, long held hatred and adventures she never thought would be possible for a simple azinzan girl. Follow the exciting voyage of Echo in the second book of the Fledging series.

Healer

46 parts Complete Mature

Completed. AzrielxFemale OC - Slow Burn, Fluff, Smut, Soft Az. Lots of Action/Story/Other character involvement. "Coming back is like swimming up to the surface. If you almost drowned already, it takes a while to feel safe taking a breath." The Shadowsinger gets distracted on a raid by a gentle natured female that appears out of place in the camp he's just taken over. He gets his job done, but takes critical moments to pull her aside and offer her refuge in his home city of Velaris. The risk of their conversation costs him, and the next few months are spent overcoming the repercussions, both physical and emotional. Dark magic swirls in Prythian, calling on spells more ancient than the High Lords and Ladies have seen in centuries and wreaking havoc on those who are too young to even recognize the source. A war is brewing and a quiet battle is already raging for the loyalty of the only healer in Prythian possessing the skills to identify and fight back against the sorcery. How will young and old, light and dark, pain and forgiveness, come together to save the land, and each other? Disclaimer: I own none of the characters or places referenced here. All belong to Sarah J. Maas.
