When she finds a book with the peculiar name of "How to Have An Adventure in 3 Simple Steps", the book ends up living to its name when a boy named Castel Simons appears in her bedroom the next day, ready to sweep her into a life filled with traitorous people, parties, first loves, and facing your past. All in her very own town of Everett. But when a new boy shows up, everything goes horribly wrong. And Alexis realizes that having an adventure-filled life comes with things she just wasn't ready to go through.

Will Rowen fold into the forces of dark magic or honor her true self? *** On the surface, Rowen Keckilpenny-Brown seems like a normal teenage girl with normal teen problems-no boyfriend, overprotective parents, and no friends other than a three-legged cat. But her wild red hair, reptilian eyes, and legendary temper say otherwise. When Rowen accidentally blows up the school gym, she discovers a dark secret her fathers have kept from her-she's the heir to an evil queen's throne. The current evil queen, Petronella Grimshaw, is desperate to crown Rowan the new sovereign and blackmails her into traveling to the queendom. Rowen has one month to learn how to evil queen, and it's not easy because there are those in the castle who want her dead, witches are disappearing, and an annoyingly cute swordsman keeps distracting her. Worst of all, Rowan finds herself in a duel against her biggest enemy: herself. She must fight her true fate, in the process uncovering deep familial mysteries and perhaps the biggest secret ever...That maybe, just maybe, she deserves to be loved after all. In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

Killer Magic Academy

31 parts Complete

You either become brilliant, or you get killed. When Alyssa was invited to a boarding school to learn magic, she was expecting something out of a Harry Potter book. She wasn't expecting to become a master of a power and learn how to survive and fight with it. She wasn't expecting that most of the people in the school would kill the people with too much power. She wasn't expecting to be one of the most powerful students to ever walk the school. Everyone at Aptitude Academy has power within, and everyone in the school will either become brilliant, or be killed by the other students. Alyssa thought she was signing up to learn to help the world, but she has to master her power quickly, before the people who already have mastered their powers come after her. Soon, that becomes the least of her problems. There's a prophecy that everyone seems convinced that it's about her, a fight club that she accidentally signed up for, the dragon that lives in the arena, and the threat that terrifies the entire school. There's only one person who can stop the threat before it's too late - the subject of the prophecy. Unfortunately for Alyssa, no one knows how to stop the threat or what exactly it is. Despite the fact everyone seems to thing the savior is Alyssa, no one knows for sure, and one false attempt will destroy everything Aptitude Academy has ever known. You become brilliant or you get killed, or maybe both. Cover by: @Ari_forev
