It all started with Serena's unusual craving for pickles. And Austin's clumsiness. It all started with Serena and Austin being drenched in pickles from head to toe. It all started at Target.

---
Serena Jameson is bipolar. And no, not the 'one moment, I love you and the next, I hate you.' She is genuinely bipolar. There are times when she's never been happier and moments where she falls apart at the slightest provocation.

Then there's Austin: Your typical, attractive dork. He's funny. He's witty. He's chill.

Put the two together and what do you get? Serena's bipolarity increasing and Austin's calm demeanour diminishing.
