Earth isn't a planet. It's a machine. No one knows for sure why or how this happened, but this is for certain: Earth has the special ability to reset (or, in nature's terms, renew) its natural resources. However, this process can kill off millions of people due to the second Ice Age that Earth would have to undergo for a few centuries. The government knew about this and preserved selected humans. They are to wake up several centuries later and continue the human race. What they don't know is that tragedy awaits for them in the future. Will they prevail? Or will the newly evolved species take control of the brand new Earth?

A massive heatwave has struck killing most of the human population on Earth. Only a strong handful of people have survived, 267 people, altogether. And they all live in a city, not known very well at all, not even mapped on a single map. These people must all learn to live in a new Era, known as the Sparked Era (a result from Climate Change). But new species are lurking with new and unimaginable powers. These people must learn to work together and survive. Or is the human race just doomed to be flushed out?
