Erys Keaton, a homeless girl with a slight mental problem, just got out of a hospital that she had been stuck in for eight years. When witnessing the suicide of an Internet star, Erys meets smart and witty Sherlock Holmes and soon, his colleague/best friend John Watson. Sherlock immediately takes an interest in her and invites her to stay at Baker Street. Sherlock, John and Erys try to figure out what caused the star to jump in front of train and, sadly, hit a numerous amount of dead ends.
But, when more and more suicides strike Erys's and Sherlock's attention, how far will they go to figure this case out? Is there a meaning behind the suicides, and if so... is it murder?

"James Moriarty is the criminal of the century, the new discovery of his Poison Chambers was discovered earlier today by Scotland Yard. James Moriarty is yet to be found, alongside the remains of those discovered inside them." He had never always believed violence was the answer to his problems. Killing people was an honour, not a hobby. Out of control, out of his mind. In control, controlling his mind, telling his mouth and hands what to do. Those Poison Chambers were created for a reason beyond the capability of normal humans to understand, it was never for anyone to understand. Let alone discover. Discovering his inner feelings and thoughts that he carved on the walls of each chamber, his handwriting was illegible and could only be understood by those who understood him. Sherlock Holmes could understand, right? Soon enough his intellectual mind would be on the case to discover exactly what it is that is going through Moriarty's head, what he is doing this for and why he would bother. "Sherlock Holmes is believed to be able to shed some light on the matter later on this evening. His formal interview will be conducted by Inspector Greg Lestrade, from Scotland Yard. We will bring you to live coverage later this evening, so stay tuned." *The rights to the characters in this book are credited to Arthur Conan Doyle, the man who made these amazing characters possible, therefore, the storyline is only mine, and any additional characters made to attribute more to the story*

Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are the only people around. But they're not alone. The Diseased---people who have caught a strange, rabid-like disease go into a state of madness in which they have the lust to kill anyone they come across---litter the streets. And John is one of them. When Sherlock comes from being in his Mind Palace for longer than he thought for a case he was solving, he finds out that a sudden apocalypse has taken over London, and a mysterious disease has plagued half the population, and they litter the streets. To his horror, John is somehow caught with the disease. The consulting detective finds himself on the most dangerous, and overwhelming case he has ever been on, one that will test his love for John. And that case is to find a cure for his best friend before he loses him to the strange, apocalyptic disease forever. And Sherlock is prepared to walk right through hell, if it means finding a cure for the one man he loves most in the world. ⚠️ ***TRIGGER WARNING*** ⚠️ This fanfic is rated M for a reason!
