The lights flicker, the streets fill with disturbing figures and the line between reality and fantasy seems to blur. It's Halloween, the night when nightmares come to life, where even the harmless can transform into something frightening. But what happens when an innocent prank like a macabre decoration turns out to be a horror far more real? In this story, three brothers (Fallou, Saliou and Mohamed) together with their two sisters (Mame and Adja), find themselves in a living nightmare with a group of friends, acquaintances, strangers and even pets, trapped in the garden of their house, forced to face terrifying, bloodthirsty creatures to survive the night that soon became far more terrifying than it should be. BACKSTORY: The idea for this story came to my sisters (Mame and Adja) and they convinced me to write it so they could read it before going to sleep. I spent a couple of months thinking about a plot, characters (some based on real people and some fictional) and a possible sequel. Let me know in the comments if I should write a sequel to this story!

Bandages are to be seen on your left leg. The sound of metal and glass hitting the floor made you jump. You turn to the cause of the noise. A nurse is in the room, shes backing up at the sight of you. A metal platter is a few feet in front of her and is on the floor. Medication pills are now spilled across the floor and glass shards are laying there with the pills. You see some water along with it. She was looking at you in both astonishment and fear. Liam left everything that he knew behind, his house, the neighborhood he lived in, and the city that he knew. Why? Because he needed a change. He needed a fresh start; he couldn't handle the gossips anymore, the neighbors whispering behind his back, the failed relationship that ended with a heartache for him and not his ex. He needed to be in a new area where no one knew what happened; no one knew the suffering he went through. So what does Liam do? He packs his things, sells his house, old furniture, and buys a new home in an area he's never even been in or heard of. Everything should go perfectly, right? This fresh start. Not quite, Liam has an unwanted guest in his new house, and this guest doesn't want to leave; she seems to be telling him that it's her house and not his. She's mistaken; this house was Liams. After all, he's purchased it for an excellent price and has moved all his new things in there. She's the one that needs to go, not him. So why is it that Liam is unable to kick her out of his home? Why is it that she won't leave?! or is it that she can't go. Strange things start to occur in Liam's new home, something that shouldn't be happening, spooky things, things that would happen in horror movies, and Liam doesn't know what to do. He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh. "We'll see who ends up leaving, because I am not going anywhere." She says.
