Murders and thieves lurked every shadow, mafias and gangs haunted the allies and corruption oozed from every inch of the city, but I can't complain, I chose this life. As for me, resorting to stealing and robbery with my friend Cat to survive has given me a reputation to be in and out of juvie, though they can't keep an escape artist locked that long. Nobody seems to know my real name except for Cat, of course. To everyone I am just "Jane Doe", made up only in stories, but that part of my life end the day I got caught.
