Life on the streets isn't easy, especially in Gotham. Murders and thieves lurked every shadow, mafias and gangs haunted the allies and corruption oozed from every inch of the city, but I can't complain, I chose this life. As for me, resorting to stealing and robbery with my friend Cat to survive has given me a reputation to be in and out of juvie, though they can't keep an escape artist locked that long. Nobody seems to know my real name except for Cat, of course. To everyone I am just "Jane Doe", made up only in stories, but that part of my life end the day I got caught. Being captured by the GCPD was a big fall in my ego, but a door of opportunity opened for me. Then I met him and let's just say he was more than just a partner in crime.

Which after lots of trying and persistence they let her in, being taken under the wing of Jim Gordon. One day she was driving with Jim when they had to make a pit stop, at a very very fancy manor.
