Maybe it was us taking that drive at midnight and screaming the wrong lyrics to a song I couldn't remember. Maybe it happened when we ran through that empty field as the sun was beginning to set. Maybe it was when we talked for hours as we looked up at the stars or when the moonlight made his eyes shine.
The truth is, I couldn't really pinpoint the exact moment when I first started to develop feelings towards Phil. What I could pinpoint was the exact moment I accepted that I was in love with him because it was the moment I told him everything.
It was the moment the shards began to fall.
