An apocalypse is among us and the world is falling apart at the seams, however this isn't zombies. The year is 3068, the idea of a Mechanical city that can shield the world from all dangers is at last a reality. Utopia was a world where humans would be safe from everything. Things in Utopia were designed to be perfect, but they didn't go as planned. As the entire human race was pulled into its walls something went wrong with the center power core. The machines molded into killers, destroying Utopia and everything it was promised to be. The people begged the Utopian government to resolve the problem, but instead they fled to pre-made shelters and sent soldiers to control the rebellious, fearful citizens. The empire of safety became known as the Mechanical Hell, but was shortened to a simpler name: Mech. Can the rebellion free the struggling human race from the evils of their gigantic steel prison? These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.
