Parker Thomas has never cared about people's emotions. Well, most people's emotions. At Shelton highschool he's known as the heartbreaker. He goes out with girls just to make them fall for him and then breaks their heart. The guys don't care. They're just happy to be the rebound. And all the girls think they can change him. But no one succeedes. He likes the way things are, but Ray Carter always gets in his way.

After moving in freshman year she quickly learns to stay clear of Parker. But once she sees how much he loves to break hearts, she decides to step up. Soon becoming the schools matchmaker Ray has made her first enemy and by senior year she's ready to tear him down.
