Angels and demons wager upon him, if he stays true and pure then he will save humanity, if he turns away and allows his rage to consume him then he damns them all. He wears a brand on his chest, half angelic, half demonic. As they put him through the trails both angels and demons play a part in his progress not only as watchers but also interacting with him in certain situations.
