The vampire hierarchy and council are desprate. A fierce battle between the vampires and hunters threaten their very existence. Given the task of trying to bring about peace between the factions the vampire queen, Alaura, has made a deal with Master Odin of the hunters. If a vampire of the Queens choosing can befriend a hunter of Odin's most elite students the war will end. However if a friendship of sorts can not be formed it could mean the end of all vampires once and for all. One year and two individuals will be the deciding factor.
