What He Needs
Winston gave up everything for love - his future, his stability, his sense of self. So when he walks in on his high school sweetheart betraying him, it doesn't just break his heart, it shatters what little he had left. Desperate to escape the pain, one reckless night sends Winston spiraling even further, leaving him with a life-altering consequence he never saw coming. Jonathan has already lost too many people to believe in happy endings. Loss has carved him into someone quieter, colder, someone whose world has narrowed to one purpose: being there for his twin daughters. They are his focus, his reason, and the only light he allows himself to hold onto. There's no room for new attachments. No space for hope; or at least, that's what he tells himself. Until Winston. There's something about the wounded man that Jonathan can't seem to ignore. And Winston, despite everything he's been through, starts to see a steadiness in Jonathan he didn't know he was missing. Two guarded hearts, one unexpected connection, and a chance at something neither of them thought they deserved. Because sometimes, healing starts in the most unlikely place; with someone who understands exactly how it feels to fall apart.Terminé
