One day Layla was got very sick  and was held in the hospital for a little while, But she was always in and out. She wrote letters to every one on her notepad, and she tried to see the light in this death threatening situation though it was hard. Landon Hills is a boy with many problems that the town seems to know very well of except for Layla. Not only did Landon have to live through to see both of his parents die, but is now under the care of the town's sheriff, who hasn't been doing a good job keeping his step son's name out of the town's gossip. From star player on his football team to society's degenerate, he doesn't seem to care about his reputation nor the opinions of others.
