this poem is about a guy who's hiding, having a confusion if he will go out or stay inside the box. someone's giving him an advice, saying the possibilities of staying in the box and what will happen after he goes out. and in the end, he found out that he himself is the adviser.

Sight. You saw something you weren't supposed to see, something you never wanted to see and worst of all, something that cost you...a lot. In return for your silence, you had unwillingly agreed to giving up your privacy. He costs you more than you were willing to give. When you refused to give...to a man like him, that was more than enough reason for him to hate you. He was a taker...he took until there was nothing else to offer. You hated him.
