What begins as a transforming love between Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak in the summer of 1965 quickly derails into something far more tumultuous when Dean is drafted in the Vietnam War. In the year 1970 on October fifteenth, after being outed as gay by his religious homophobic family and ridiculed by the people in his town, twenty two year old, Castiel Novak decides to take his own life inside of his own home. Skip forward to the year 2015 on October second, twenty five year old, Dean Winchester moves into the same house Castiel once owned. He doesn't believe it when people tell him there's something off about the house but all of his disbeliefs fly out the window when he meets a specific man who may or may not have been living in the same house as Dean for a while.
