Cloudites are the people who live among the sky, above all the other humans. Sky Dancers are modified humans that are able to dance on the clouds. There are only a few thousands of them on Earth, so normal people pay thousands of dollars to just see one showing of the Sky Dancers amazing talents.
Vivica's family history has been cursed every since her long dead ancestor created the Sky Dancers. One at a time, each person in her family is cursed to spend their days dancing on the cumulonimbus cloud that haunts their every thought.
But now Vivica is the last one of her family. As long as she never has children, the curse will fade and die out. That's what she thought at first, but on her seventeenth birthday she learns that she gains another fate: To have the chance to have the adventure of a lifetime.
