I was no more then 13 when I wrote this; I'm 18 now and see that this may seem dramatized in places and the description of event may seem sarcastic but I can assure you it was not a lighthearted matter, 13 year old me was very emotionally feral as most 13 year olds are, but I can testify to the fact I really was that dramatic at 13 so please forgive my terrible writing and nonchalantness of my approach to such a sore subject.

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. He looked at me in the eyes, his face was so red. His eyes were still brimming with tears, he took another shaky breath, and said, "How the hell are you still with me?" He questioned. "My life is so messed up. How can you even love me?" His voice broke, as my hands went cold. I stopped holding his face. "How can anybody?" He asked quietly while sobbing. My eyes filled with more tears, this was breaking my heart. I hated that he thought he wasn't good enough for me. He was way more than enough for me. I loved him with every inch of my body. I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it.
