Tyrone Edward Davis Jr. (Ted) is an 18 year old boy who just graduated from high school. He received a full ride basketball scholarship to Duke University. When he was only 10 years old, he witnessed his father get shot to death. Now, eight years later, he secretly witnesses his step dad (Christopher) get shot to death. He keeps everything a secret until he comes face to face with his step dad's killer. Then the day right before he's supposed to move into college, he's in court. Everyone is expecting him to reveal who Christopher's killer is, but Ted doesn't say anything because he has his own secret.
