Ray had spent more than a decade searching for the woman that friend and Shaman 'Carol' had seen to be his destiny.
However now at 38, pining after some fated girl in a prophecy when he knew full well that Jaguar's didn't have Mates, well...it was the last thing on his mind!
Especially now when there is an unidentified shifter roaming the county, and Carol has been missing for well over 2 months.
His fated lady however has other ideas.
Brin isn't interested in having a man in her life. Point blank. She walks alone, fights alone and plays alone. Any comfort she seeks she takes from other women, both in her friendships and in her bedroom.
She doesn't trust men, and she certainly doesn't need them.
Unfortunately Ray is unable to fulfill his destiny or find the lost Shaman without an equally strong and formidable partner by his side.
A partner like Brinley.
