Hie, so this story is a fan-fiction, but a little different. It does have to do with hockey, and the Chicago Blackhawks, but it will have a few other hockey players. I hope it's good, comment in the end if it was, or is! :D
Hey, I'm Cori, no not Corey Crawford. I mean he is amazing, but no, not me. I came from Dallas to Chicago, it's ok so far. School will start, my dad says that I'll get a better hockey team, and education at it. I love hockey. Live and breath it. I did play on a girls team in Dallas, it was really fun. But I guess not as good as my high school senior year was, with the Chicago boys on my team...I'll miss that team. All of them. If u didn't know, I'm a girl, not a guy, and it was and still is fun playing hockey, with guys. There are people in your life that you don't wanna ever let go of. That was my case in this scenario...
P.S. (If u didn't notice the way I wrote the teaser for the story then I'll just tell you. It was present tense, and then into past tense. Get your focus on!)
THERE ARE SOME RANDOM PARTS IN THE STORY, SO IF IT SOUNDS STUPID, OR IS SUPPOSED TO BE, THEN IT WAS PROBABLY A RANDOM PART! XD

BRENDAN The first on-ice time after a rest is always when I realize, anew, that I feel simply better with my skates on: more alive, more myself. It's like someone wiped away the dust over the glass I see the world trough: everything is more vivid. ... The Coach calls me and talks directly my duty: "We already know Jesperi is able to play with us." He says. I translate 'he is able' in: 'we need him desperately', but I don't say a word and the coach goes on: "But I doubt Weiner can stand the pressure." I ask the next question even if I already know the answer, because you know, it's first day and the two guys are so new: "You want me just to verbal stress them, or do I get physical?" The coach looks at me, bored: "Am I breathing?" He asks. I grin. SERENA I keep walking, but the blond guy remark stings. Of course I'm not his type. Aspiring is the first part of this, followed by Rookie Season and then finally the third part of Never Let You Go. Well I like hockey and I'm a fan of the mystery/thriller genre which involves kidnapping, so I combined them. So I hope you enjoy it. And yes, there may be some disturbing ideas later in this novel, but that's why I put the trigger warning up literally thousands of times with this. :) Sorry if this isn't your cup of tea, I just wanted to try something new and test out an interesting novel idea. He walks up to me, the girl standing behind him. "Hello Jordan," Gillespie says. He points to the girl. "This little lady here is a new student. I'm gonna have her work with you today, show her the ropes. Behave yourselves." Before I get a chance to protest, Gillespie walks off to check on other people's progress.
