**I accept feedback on how to improve. I need a better title for sure but any bit helps. Thanks for helping.

Nick and his family live alone. They used to have a beautiful ocean-side house with a small, but successful, farm. Then Nick's father left to help out at his home town that was struggling with sickness. A shortage of trained workers and proper nutrition didn't help much either. Then afterwards their house burned down, leaving him and his mom alone. They travel through areas suffering with drought to find a place where they can do what they've always done, farm.

**I need a much better summary but it is 12:07 AM and I can barely see the screen at this point. I also don't know exactly what genre to put this under. Thanks.

Then he gets word that his cat, Bernie, just died and he can collect him and bring him home! Geoff and Naomi hurry to get Bernie only to discover that, due to a clerical error, their cat has been lost.
