"Tell me, Max, please." Michael pleaded, it wasn't fair for him, he'd been through hell and back just to be friends with the guy. "Tell you what? That I love you?" Max retorted, yelling. Red's face turned a light hue of a light red, "yes . . ."

     Michael, or better known as Red, has been put through hell with being Max's friend; it doesn't help when Max leaves for almost a week, leaving no connection for anybody to help him if he needed it. 

     Another thing that doesn't help Michael, Max being suicidal. It isn't shown easily and it took forever for Red to find out. Max wasn't always like this, he used to be happy and upbeat, he acts like it, quite well actually. And it's Michael's job to help him find it once again.

     The question that is brought to Red's attention is: what happens when the one you loves happiness means more than your life?

(This book is a representation of my experiences with dating someone with depression in high school. I wrote it while we were dating, subconsciously writing him into the character Infinity. I will say that I intend to rewrite this at some point to send a better message, as I feel some of the actions in this book are unhealthy reactions to depression, that I have a much better perspective of now) [I'm also working on a VN based on this story....
