Lampshade

This poem is about hiding your insecurities and personality and how doing so effects how you live your life. I got the inspiration for this poem from the movie St. Elmo's Fire because I feel that every character from that movie can relate to this poem in some way and the fact that the characters are so diverse just adds to the poems overall effectiveness to connect on a personal level with readers.
