A Court of Snow and Storms
One year ago, Prythian suffered an attack at the hands of the necromancer, Melantha. She was ultimately defeated, but the marks of her terrible influence still remain in the memories and on the bodies of her victims. Wynter, Heir to the Winter Court, bears many of those marks. Unable to live with himself after what happened on the island Inmortui, Wynter chose to go into seclusion and face his lingering trauma alone. Regardless of his attempts to isolate himself, there are those who refuse to abandon him, no matter how badly he wishes they would. Elodie Rohese has carried a fondness towards Wynter since she first met him, just before he was kidnapped by Melantha. She refuses to leave him alone in his isolation, and instead, visits his home frequently, even though he never admits her. Despite her uncle's wrath and prejudices, Elodie continues to reach out to Wynter. When circumstances finally drive Wynter to answer her, they are both swept into a storm of unresolved trauma and unacknowledged romance. Together, they can weather the storm, but apart, it will only break them. Disclaimer: I do not own the ACOTAR series or the characters and places therein. A whole new world (ToG/ACOTAR crossover)
A year after Aelin awakes to find her home covered in kingsflame, she and the co have finally met up again all together in Terrasen. However, when a pulse of power radiates through her country and knocks an unsuspecting Dorian and herself out, they decided to investigate the source, and postpone the greetings. What they find out might just change their world (and perhaps another one as well) forever. This is obviously a ToG/ACOTAR crossover haha, but WARNING; just a spoiler alert, if you haven't read KoA or ACOFAS you should probably go finish those! My book takes place after them, and I honestly can't compare to the real genius behind these worlds (shout out sjmaas), so go and (sob, laugh, smile) read those two before (hopefully!) reading this. (also huuuge credit to all the amazing artists who created the pictures both on the cover of this book and in each chapter. their work is so incredible-i wish i could make art like that)Complete
Somewhere Over the Rainbow
(LOTR - Haldir Fic) Aisling Hughes has her life figure out. She has a great job working with her cousins in their family-run hotel business in New York. And her friends in the small town of Oklahoma where she was born. Sure life has dealt her some pretty hard blows, but she's always thought herself strong and capable, willing to do what was needed to help her family and friends. That was until a freak spring storm blows up, sending an unexpected (and rather large) tornado her way. When she wakes up, Aisling finds herself in a land she doesn't recognize, surrounded by people and creatures that shouldn't exist on the cusp of a war that she'll never survive, even with all her 21st century knowledge. Feeling completely out of her element, Aisling must rely on the help of the ever serious and stoic Haldir, and the cryptic advice of Lady Galadriel, as they search for a wizard who can supposedly send her back home (or help her wake up - she's still not sure if this is all real). And then learns that perhaps it wasn't a journey to find her way home, but to find herself... and perhaps fall in love along the way...Complete
A supposed tyrant's daughter (ACOTAR)
I thought I had died on my way home from work and that the gods had blessed me with a loving father in the afterlife. I was ready to accept that where I now stood was simply an illusion-an afterlife crafted just for me. How could I have known that my soul had traveled to another world? A world inside a book. I must have sinned greatly for the gods to abandon me, leaving me in this hellish place where I have to fight for my life every single day. I have no cousins who see me as family, no mother I can depend on. My home is filled with two-faced faes, and to make matters worse, my father's favorite general has taken it upon herself to act as some kind of mother figure, filled with hatred. The woman whose body I now possess was supposed to be dead. My death should have been the breaking point for my loving father-the event that turned him into a cruel, evil villain for the protagonist to defeat over 100 years later. Now, I am trapped in the book series I had read only because my friend loved it. And I can barely recall key details because I never bothered to read it carefully. It was already a horrible story riddled with many plot holes. And being stuck in it? It's even worse-especially as someone who wasn't even mentioned in the book because she was supposed to die early on. ~.~ This is a transmigration ACOTAR story set before Amarantha was sent as an emissary to Prythian. While the war over slavery has already occurred, I've altered the timeline and some details about the war's history. I also dislike the trope of a "truly evil" villain whose sole purpose is to justify the plot of a war or the extension of a series. With this story, I want to give the villain a backstory-a name and depth-saving him from the same mediocre depiction of a tyrant.
