Once the most technologically advanced animal species on Mobius.
They hailed from the famous Floating Island and the ancient homeland
of Albion.
Some of the most powerful beings were Echidna throughout their long and amazing history.
But no more.
This is a fan made story about the downfall of the entire Echidna civilization and the struggle of the remnant to pick up the pieces.
Witness as they fight for their lives and their legacy as they encounter great and many threats, iconic supervillains, and the struggle to unite.
This is a fan made story line and is not canon to the storyline of The Sonic the Hedgehog comic book, only my interpretation of what I wished happened or at least what played out in my imagination.
I do not own any of the characters created by Sega's Archie Comics.

'Common Enemy' [Sonic 3 Inspired Fic]
Having come from Mobius, a once thought-to-be fictional world in which all of the Classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" characters live, a new super-powered, female Hedgehog arrives on Earth, looking to run away as she was being tracked down by echidna warriors. She soon finds herself hiding amongst the forests of what she later learns is "Green Hills" Montana before being spotted by another Hedgehog. As well as his family consisting of a two-tailed fox, echidna and two humans. Tom and Maddie. They get to know each other a bit, explaining each other's stories before being grouped together by an organization titled "G.U.N." and introduced to a new common enemy amongst the newly formed underdogs group, Shadow The Hedgehog. The group all go through highs and lows to keep this new common enemy at bay before a saddening past is revealed. The new female hedgehog makes it her new mission to keep this new enemy, who is swayed by heartbreak and pain and being used for something far greater beyond just simple revenge, at bay with hardened banter, endless ass-kicking and terrible, downright awful flirting and talk-me-downs before being discovered to hold a great power, one similar to the black and red hedgehog she was tasked to keep busy alongside others. Then, a new, odd, love-hate relationship starts to form between the two hedgehogs. It sparks and flares just as a huge revelation comes to light which requires the strengths of all 'alien' hedgehogs, humans, foxes and echidnas alike. All of the furry, non-furred and spiked friends then team up and take down those who deceived and manipulated. While in her usual space she notices an ebony and red hedgehog had seemed to follow as-well. It has been a long time since she had seen anyone here. Since the imbalance happened Y/N noticed herself growing weaker. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Y/N has limited powers, she is able to control the floating shards in space but can only hold them for so long. She has speed but not nearly as much as sonic or shadow, as well as the ability to fly for a matter of time being able to create temporary shard wings. She is a pure white hedgehog with bright purple eyes and her quills have light purple stains near the tips.
