Things were fine, Maya and Riley were best friends and stayed as close as they've always been.
Farkle flourished in higher educated classes.
Zay kept his class clown cockiness and created a better friendship with the group.
Lucas kept his ease, and friendship with the two girls.
Things were great.
For about a semester.
When something happens,-something bad-to Maya Hart over the first few months of winter and things change.
Maya becomes distant, quiet.
And when people start to question Mayas rebelliousness she becomes defensive.
And with her new found rebelliousness.
