This book is about eight teenagers who live in a not-so-utopian society. They are chosen to leave the country and set out on a treacherous journey to another continent.

Flip: The main character. An intelligent, but awkward teenage boy (based on me btw)

Jade: The love interest (oooohhhhh) Jade likes to be all up in your business. She is a hormonal, moody girl

Collin: Another one of the kids. His character is hard to explain, so I'll just talk about cats. Jk, I won't

Thomas: The cool one. He isn't actually one of the teenagers. He is actually just the pilot of the ship that they take to get to the new continent.

Scarlet, G, Layla, Brittany, Shaila: Side characters that don't get lots of character development, but are still pretty important

Losing all her friends, she meets Ember, a Morpheen with a hero's brain. Perfect for staying under-cover and not becoming the center of attention. When they finally arrive...When the world starts to fall apart..then she knows it's time to step up and use her forbidden powers to use... Will it kill the whole world like it did her village, save the world from total destruction?  Milo doesn't know what to expect when everything changes when his town is burned down... He is teleported to the future when Hippogriffs, Phoenix, Phipogrix, and Morpheens rule the world. When his friend Eve is taken away to Fire Den Castle, and Kyra disappears, Milo knows he'll save them, and take care of his sister. But when his sister dies from his own powers, he knows it's time to step up and try his best to use his powers for good. So, when Kyra and Ember both need his powers, he knows he can protect them.

Little did she know, what started out the shooting lessons in the middle of the woods would turn into their worst nightmare. Bradley has to reveal some secrets along with Ella and he has to start using his brotherly love and instinct to survive. What happens when Ella discover the biggest secret the boys have. Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.
