Hey, I'm Dan, and right now I am sitting in the police station waiting to get chewed out by a cop. Who's also my mom by the way. Yeah, aren't I lucky? 
  I only spray painted a wall for God's sake! What's the big deal? I mean yeah, it is the seventh time in eight months it's happened, but I just don't see what the big deal is. 
  I never thought that she would actually punish me for it though, even though her asshole boyfriend (who's also a cop) would love nothing more then to see me shipped off to some boarding school somewhere. But whaddya know? It looks like he got his wish after all, because in two days I, Dan Howell, will be entering Carson Academy, an all boys boarding school.

And after 5 years of asking of Phil asking 'talk to me' will he? A/N Part 1 is mostly an in-depth backstory if you want to skip, although it might not make sense then. It also contains no actual 'Phan'. It will be entirely Phils POV for part 1 and mostly Phil for part 2. This book was inspired by 'Speak Up Already' by Geniusotaku. Dan Howell had been at a Catholic school all of his life. He ate, breathed and lived as a good Christian boy should. However, it didn't fit him, he didn't feel right promising himself to a God he didn't fully believe in. With countless rules Dan wasn't sure he could live his life to eternally, he starts to wonder if this life is his, or his parents. Suddenly, as he begins to doubt everything he's ever been taught, a reformer is brought to St Patricia's, somebody who has the power to change everything; as cliche as it sounds. Dan begins to feel things he ought not to as a good Christian boy, but not every rule is okay to be broken.
