The Sharded Blade | Part 1 (A Dark Fantasy Novella)
What happens when death is not the end? For one assassin, it wasn't. Now, in order to die, he must continue to kill. ⭐2020 Ambassador Pick⭐ ⭐2020 ONC Shortlister⭐ ⭐2020 ONC Honorable Mention⭐ The Sharded Blade (Part 1: Ghosts of the Past) was my entry into the 2020 Open Novella Contest (#OpenNovellaContest2020) and is approximately 24k words. It didn't place in the Top 5 and win, but it did receive a very kind Honorable Mention from the Wattpad Ambassadors who ran the contest. I am deeply thankful for all of you who read and enjoyed this story. Parts 2 and 3 (turning this into an entire novel length story) are currently being worked on. This story is based on the following two prompts ... with some liberties taken: 4. When something tragic happens, it's often said we lose a piece of ourselves. How far would you go to find these lost parts of yourself in order to be whole again? 45. You are possessed by a demon. The only way to cast it out is to kill 7 people - each representing one of the 7 virtues.Complete
Hunting for a way home - Shalnark x Reader
Waking up surrounded by an unfamiliar place was a new one even for you, but the most unsettling thing about waking up is seeing a wide eyed black and green haired boy hovering over you looking down at your face asking if your okay. Was this a prank or some weird new messed up reality? Something was telling you it was the later though because nothing about this place felt fake. One thing you knew though was regardless of what it was, you had to hunt to find a way home. If following this kid named Gon to take the hunter exams brought you closer to finding a way home you'd take that chance even if it killed you. But what happens after an unexpected run in with a deadly troupe member? Will you still want to go home after getting to know him and if you still do will he even let you? [Shalnark x Reader] [Mature and Explicit content] [First Fan Fic I hope you guys like it] Rank- 1 shalnarkxreader 10/03/23 💖 Personally I don't think Shal gets enough love or attention. I've looked for Fanfics for him before and nothing has really stood out besides a few one shots. The lack of love this character has received has inspired me to dedicate my first Fanfic just to him. This has been cross posted to AO3
Depth of Silence (LSoE Series)
((previously The Bridge Between Worlds)) Six hundred and fifty-five years have passed, and everything has been going according to plan in the towns of Caspian and Eulir. Contact between the towns has been minimal, there have been no intrusions, and everyone has long since forgotten the Old World. But humanity decides to take matters into their own hands for the first time after a brutal attack by a deadly black mist. They created a protection service called the Phantom Regiment to ensure their lives could continue as peacefully as it had ever since walls were built around their towns. Shielding an entire race from extinction by exploring an unknown world isn’t an easy thing to do, though, Division 001 soon discovers. In a territory where every corner could hold a threat, the soldiers struggle with discovering the first part to their recovery plan: uncovering what the inhuman monsters actually are. Will the Phantom Regiment have enough time to unearth the weaknesses of the Shadows before every beating heart is frozen over? Or will an uncontrollable black mist forever plague the human race? Blasted Futures, Secret Histories (SciFi Smackdown)
The Adventures of Morley and Boots: The crew of the Leapfrog travel randomly about the galaxy in search of unique lifeforms to trap & trade. Intra-galactic poaching is profitable, but risky - like when an Evil Intergalactic Empire accuses you of capturing their Goddess, and you don't even know which critter she is! End Game: In an alternate near-future Indochina, Imperial France still rules, much to the chagrin of the local Siamese. Ratana's brother is captain of a premiere league football team, and a hero to the Siamese - and when he is booted from the squad to make space for the son of a powerful nobleman, it sets off a chain of events that could result in the toppling of the Empire. Self-Assembly Required: Human civilization has been almost entirely destroyed by a catastrophic plague of nanites, but one city remains, hidden and protected by Hydra, a team of all-female nano/human hybrids. Is the arrival of a roguish, lone-wolf mercenary a sign that human civilization is recovering, or the event that could destroy the few remaining survivors? The Woman from Mars: The robotic crew of the Basilisk thought humans were gone, long gone. But when they are sucked back in space and time to Jupiter's moon Europa in 2552, they discover a Viking civilization with the technology to rebuild human civilization - assuming the woman from Mars can complete her mission. Blasted Futures is a short story collection. All of these works have been written for The Pub's SciFi Smackdown, a contest in which contestants write Science Fiction stories meeting the specifications laid out by the smackdown's host, @ForbiddenPlanet. Jessa: Adventure's End
The armies are amassing, time is short for the defenders and their armies aren't in place. Will Jessa and those with her be enough to stop the invading armies? Will they be able to free the captive dragons? Will Lexin fall but the others manage to survive? Will Jessa and Dhiren be able to have a life together once the fighting is over or will they be two of the fallen? It has been a long journey for them and myself. I started the trilogy years ago in long hand. I had never meant for it to become so long. When I discovered wattpad I knew that Jessa's story would be one of the ones I would tell on here. I hope you all have enjoyed the journey, even with the long gaps in between the stories. I hope the final installment of the trilogy does justice to the first two parts. Enjoy!Complete
Beneath the Iron
***First Five Chapters Only, Whole is Published*** The laws of the legion are eternal, handed down by the gods of the Imperium themselves. Out of the ashes left by the great cataclysm that was the end of a world, the Princes of Iron arose and forged themselves a dominion ever expanding and engulfing the lands around theirs. Called demons by the other races, the Divine Princes rule with thaumaturgy at their beck and call, unfeeling and perfect. Within the legions, dark engines of destruction and conquest, glimmers of light sometimes appear. For Tita Nautia Helva and the soldiers of Fourth Legion, such a suggestion strikes just in time to shake their world down to its foundations. The question in the aftermath is simple: who will you become?Complete
