In Karoi, a small but picturesque town at the foothills of the Himalayas, there lives a girl named Chitralekha. Losing her parents in a tragic car accident was a huge turning point for her, but amiable friends and an understanding uncle makes her life somewhat a little less gloomy. She even goes as far as to hope for the warm, fuzzy feeling with the arrival of the fun-loving Aditya in town. Her fairytale is indeed too good to be true and things soon start to reveal a sinister side. Aditya seems to be hiding a little too many secrets and eventually Chitra finds herself being dragged into a very dark vortex, not because she's someone exceptional, but simply because she was there at the wrong time, at the wrong place. Hell! She had been living in the wrong place for years without any knowledge about the dangers literally lurking in the shadows. With only her instincts and a secretive boy to rely upon, Chitra must tread very carefully. She might either make it out alive but heartbroken, or end up cold and dead. Surprisingly, she hopes for the latter. --- #15 in Paranormal (31st May 2016)

ELEMENTS OF LOVE series - BOOK 2 (Trust and Intimacy) - Symbolising Element of Nature - Earth Thooriga Losing my parents in front of my eyes in a fatal accident was my worst fate, and being sent away to a highly scrutinised residential school immediately after it was even worse. Far from my extended family, away from my estate, and, above all, the person sending me away is none other than my most special person, My Bodyguard. Now, ten years later, I'm back at the Harshvardhan Estate to claim my Heiress status back, my rights and my bodyguard. Raj Losing my mentor/boss in front of my eyes was unbearable. Governing the Harshvardhan Estate and the family while protecting his only daughter, the Heiress was a responsibility beyond what I could handle. So, I sent her away when she was a young girl to keep her safe and now the time has come for her to return to the estate. She is unaware of the danger looming over her. I have to protect her from others, but never in my worst dreams did I think she would need protection from me. Author's Note: This is a May-September steamy romance. I started this story in 2018 as "My Bodyguard Uncle", to contest in NaNoWriMo. A few months in, the writing stalled, and I had to put the story on hold. Fast forward to November 2021: I'm picking up where I left off and bringing this story back to life on Wattpad as an Ashaangi fiction. Main Cast: Sivaangi as Thooriga Harshavardan, the Heiress Ashwinkumar as Raj Vajendra, the Bodyguard Reem Shahik as Tina, Thooriga's Best friend Sehban Azim as Rudhran Harshavardan, Thooriga's Paternal Uncle Nithyashree as Tanya, Thooriga's Best friend Adithya RK as Raj's Deputy Gemini AI generated the cover image, and the cover design (placement of title, series and author name) was done by me.
